  • Old Business
    • Bobbi Wade spoke with the Wyoming Democratic Party and was told Venmo was not a viable option for digital donations. We will continue to look into Act Blue and how to implement that.
    • The SCDP Social Picnic is on schedule for next week. A formal address was needed so Bobbi Wade could send out personal invites to registered Democrats in Sublette County. A request was made for everyone to bring a potluck item, cutlery, or whatever contribution they could. It was also requested that everyone bring their own chairs.
    • Newsletters are still scheduled for once a month. No change.
    • It was reiterated that a goal for the SCDP is to host an information/merchandise booth during summer events, including but not limited to: Rendezvous Week, Music in the Park, and the Sublette County Fair. We will plan next year to attend those events.
  • New Business
    • Bobbi Wade has ordered stickers from Vista Print. We currently have about 1000 stickers in stock. The stickers were reviewed and given to attending members. Stickers are available by request, there are no plans to sell the stickers individually at this time.
  • Molly Mulcahy presents the Precinct Committee Person training courtesy of the WDP.
    • A physical copy of the presentation itself can be made available by request.
  • Bettina Sparrowe made a request for further communication from the SCDP to registered party members or interested persons. Some solutions put forward were to see more posts on social media regarding: the stance of the SCDP on topical issues, reminders for local community events, and guidance for volunteers to get involved both in partisan and non-partisan methods. No formal motion or vote was made. The SCDP appreciates the feedback.
  • Ideas for the next Think Tank were discussed.
    • A date for either late September or early October needs to be chosen.
    • The Sublette County Library Lovatt Room was chosen as the venue.
    • Different topics were discussed including Planning and Zoning, Civics, and New Election Laws. It was also discussed attempting to contact and invite Wyoming Democratic Representatives Mike Yin and Karless Provenza either for a fundraising event or Listening Session.
    • A fundraising gala in January was brought forward as a future project. The topic was tabled for future discussion.
    • Partnering with the Sublette County Republican Party or partisan group Sublette County for Progress was discussed for a Think Tank. No formal motion was made regarding a decision at this time.
  • A list was requested for any public office with an opening for the rest of 2025 going into 2026 so as to encourage registered Sublette County Democrats to be involved.
  • Molly Mulcahy asked if there were any further topics for discussion.
  • Molly Mulcahy moves to adjourn the meeting. Paige Phillips seconds. Unanimous approval, motion passes – 8:04 pm 8/15/25

Respectfully Submitted,

Paige Phillips – Secretary
