SCDP Central Committee Meeting 4/28/26 6:00 PM

  • Meeting called to order 6:05 pm by Molly Mulcahy
  • Members present: Chair Molly Mulcahy, Treasurer Bobbi Wade, (Former) Vice Chair Trisha Scott, Precinct Committeeperson Cindy Van, Precinct Committeeperson Kent Van, Precinct Committeeperson Dave Racich, (Vice Chair) Registered Democrat Ken Reed.
  • New Business:
  • Art Auction Fundraiser
    • Cindy Van will contact Mary Lynn Worl to follow up on Mary Lynn Worl’s offer to hold an art auction at her house and make it a fundraiser for the SCDP.  The suggestion was made to create a planning committee with these people invited to participate: Mary Lynn Worl, Cindy Van, Patty Racich, Teryl Hartman. The Planning Committee will set a date for the event  by the June central committee meeting.
  • Outreach
    • Keep SCDP gatherings going at the precinct level every other month, organized by precinct committeepersons.
    • Presence at local events: Suggested we have booths – with materials, stickers, magnets, platform, at County Fair, Rendezvous (and parade), Outdoor Expo, Sound Check.  Bobbi will develop materials. Email and printed sign up sheets will be available asking for two volunteers to sign up for each event. Cindy Van asked for a calendar of summer events to be available on the website.
  • May 13th Candidate Meet and Greet
    • Attendees decided on format, food, and marketing.
      • Format:
      • 5 pm – 6 pm meet and greet
      • 6 pm – 7 pm Candidate remarks/speech time
      • 7 pm – 8 pm  Q & A and clean-up
      • Food and Beverage:
      • Dave Racich, Bobbi Wade, and Trisha Scotta will pick up four Los Cabos Fiesta platters. Cindy Van and Kent Van will bring Costco Margaritas. Molly Mulcahy will donate beer. Someone is still needed to volunteer to provide water and non-alcoholic beverages. Bobbi Wade will bring the plates, napkins, forks, etc. Molly Mulcahy will bring cups. 
      • Marketing/Ads:
      • Molly Mulcahy will talk to the Byrd campaign on 4/29/26 and ask for their marketing plan. Paige Phillips will speak to the Kinney campaign as soon as possible.
      • Paige Phillips will need to post save the date on facebook and instagram as soon as possible.
      • Trisha Scott will email the editor Cali O’Hare at the Pinedale Roundup.
      • Molly Mulcahy will invite potential Democratic candidate for County Commissioner Stanton Meats.
  • Other Business
    • Trisha Scott resigns from the position of Vice Chair. Molly Mulcahy appoints Ken Reed to the Vice Chair position. 
    • Bobbi would like to resign from precinct 1 responsibilities so she can concentrate on treasurer duties. No formal resignation was adopted.
  • Ken Reed notes the filling window to run for precinct committeeperson is May 14th – May 29th.
  • Bobbi Wade and Trisha Scott will complete Votebuilder training in May.
  • Bobbi Wade asks for a majority vote to allocate traveling funds to SCDP delegates to the Wyoming Democratic Convention. Unanimous, it passes.
  • An email contact list will be uploaded in the Sublette Dems business email address in order to have a quicker and more efficient way to contact those on the mailing list. Switchboard may be utilized again in the future.
  • The next SCDP Central Committee Meeting is set for June 9th, at 5:30 pm.
  • Molly Mulcahy asks for a motion to adjourn the meeting, Bobbi Wade makes the motion, Trisha Scott seconds, unanimous, it passes. – 8:00 pm 4/28/26
