SCDP Central Committee Meeting 2/19/26

  • Meeting called to order by Chair Molly Mulcahy at 5:05 pm.
  • Members present: Chair Molly Mulcahy, Treasurer Bobbi Wade, Vice Chair Trisha Scott, Precinct Committeeperson Bettina Sparrowe, Precinct Committeeperson Rollie Sparrowe, Precinct Committeeperson Kent Van, and Precinct Committeeperson Dave Racich

  • Bobbi Wade noted that most SCDP funds are used for advertising.
  • Bobbi Wade asks for a motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report. Trisha Scott makes a motion, seconded by Rollie Sparrowe, unanimous, motion passes.

End Treasurer’s Report

  • Discussion on platform, county convention, and strategic plan:

    • A proposal was brought forth that we send a survey to all registered Democrats to identify key county priorities. The survey will include a link to the county platform for survey respondents to review before completing the survey. We will hold a work group to review the survey data, and use the survey data to inform a strategic plan.

  • Upcoming events and dates to be aware of:

    • March 5: Deadline to email survey out to registered Democrats. Molly Mulcahy volunteered to draft and send the survey.
    • March 21: Central Committee work group, followed by social gathering.
    • April 18: County Convention. Molly Mulcahy volunteered to find a venue for the convention.

  • Bettina Sparrowe volunteered to learn more about Votebuilder and work more with the platform to benefit the county party as a whole.
  • Bobbi Wade makes a motion to adjourn, Trisha Scott seconds, unanimous approval, meeting is adjourned. – 5:45 PM 2/19/26
