MINUTES
SCDP Central Committee Meeting 6/19/25 5:00 PM
- Meeting called to order at 5:15 pm by the Chair, Molly Mulcahy.
- The Pledge of Allegiance was spoken.
- Dave Racich made a motion to approve this meeting’s agenda. Bobbi Wade seconded. Unanimous approval, motion passes.
- Old Business
- This mission statement was edited and reviewed in a group discussion. Here is the final version: We serve our community and country with pride and purpose: defending individual freedoms, protecting our cherished public lands, and taking action to ensure the interests of Sublette County Democrats are heard and reflected in every level of government. We believe participatory democracy should be powered by all the voices in our community. We believe patriotism means working together to build a better tomorrow.
- Dave Racich made a motion to approve the final version of the mission statement. Bobbi Wade seconded. Unanimous approval, motion passes.
- The Communications Policy was reviewed in a group discussion. The Policy is tabled for further review. The Policy will be uploaded to the SCDP website for any member to review prior to any upcoming meetings.

- Cash Position as of 6/19/25: $894.34
End Treasurer’s Report
- An update was given on the intern provided by the WDP. She could not attend the June Think Tank, but is available to help us at our instruction.
- A reminder was given about an opening on the Planning and Zoning Committee. Registered Democrats are strongly encouraged to participate in the community and local government, both in partisan and non-partisan roles.
- The next Think Tank will be in either September or October. Both Planning and Zoning and concern about Public Lands were discussed as topics.
- The website is close to completion, and will be filled with updates and resources.
- It is decided that the newsletter will only be released monthly and in the event of pressing local/state news.
- Precinct Representatives are encouraged to act within their precincts.
- A social event for the Central Committee and spouses was discussed for August. The event will be hosted at a member’s house, and will not be open to the public.
- No further topics for discussion.
- Bobbie Wade moves to adjourn the meeting. Dave Racich seconds. Unanimous approval, motion passes – 7:00 PM 6/19/25
